The North Sails Snuffer Plus contains the sail within a sleeve that will not allow the sail to fill with wind until you are ready for use. Once you are ready to set, the snuffer is raised to the top of the sail and unveiled by pulling on the upward control line. To douse the sail, the downward control line is pulled and the snuffer is lowered onto the sail, removing the wind. The snuffer encases the sail until next use and makes your downwind sailing experience much safer and more manageable!
